Lots of Character! Owner greets guests personally. Beautiful chateau! Reserve in advance a gourmet dinner at the hotel, worth it! Need a car to move around. Great breakfast too, worth the price.

The first time you sight the Chateau is a wow factor with the lawns and lake and the fabulous building of the Chateau. We were welcomed by the owner and his family and a champagne aperitif in the drawing room before a wonderful dinner. A four poster bedroom suite was superb. We had landed in Downton Abbey. We will return and it is hard to leave this magic place.
Leaving it, we wanted to stay longer.

The rooms at Chateau Des Briottieres are stunning! Our room had a four-poster bed adorned with beautiful Pierre Frey fabric, making us feel like royalty. As a young family, we loved the cozy and romantic atmosphere it created.
Personally, I would have preferred a private bathroom instead of sharing one, but others may still appreciate the spaciousness and amenities it offers.

We loved staying in the fruitiers apartment. Our kids' (ages 5,7 and 9) never wanted to leave. The food was excellent. Had the weather been nicer we might have enjoyed the heated pool. The trampoline and ping pong tables were a huge hit and we enjoyed biking around on the beautiful property. A truly relaxing time with our family.
The only thing I did not like about this hotel was that there were no self service laundry facilities.

I greatly enjoyed my individually decorated room with romantic candles lit all over the place, bathroom, as example.

The Chateau's traditional decor exudes charm, making it a perfect place to stay as a solo traveler. The owner's warm hospitality made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The beautiful building and surrounding area offer great walking opportunities, with the added bonus of a stunning walled garden to explore. The honesty bars in the hotel common areas provide convenience, but the owner is always available to assist. The evening meal, served at a single seating, was expertly cooked and beautifully presented. Pre-dinner drinks on the patio added to the delightful experience. With its nice pool and secure parking, this Chateau is an ideal choice for a group of friends traveling together.
Felt completely secure throughout my stay, with no complaints to mention.

This wonderful Chateau and welcoming hosts create an aura of peace and tranquility. The rooms were comfortable and beautiful without being austere. This is not a trendy designer hotel but a wonderful welcoming family house decorated with a real charm. Superb pool, table tennis table, trampoline and tennis court. A truly remarkable place to stay.
